This Year's Project:

About Our Organization

The Medicine Valley Public Schools Foundation was organized in 1995 to support educational and charitable purposes in the Medicine Valley Public School system.  The foundation provides a means of preparing for the future through receiving gifts from memorials, estates, wills, donations, insurance policies, beneficiaries, annuities, savings bonds to name a few examples.  In all cases, because of the tax-exempt status of the foundation, donors receive tax advantages as a result of their generosity and belief in Medicine Valley Public Schools.  Public recognition will be given to donors but amounts remain confidential.  Anonymous gifts will be respected.

    Project Details

The Medicine Public Schools Foundation annually raises funds to provide scholarships for seniors graduating from Medicine Valley Jr./Sr. High School and pursuing a post-secondary education.  In addition, the foundation works with the district to provide funding for special projects that will benefit the students and/or staff of the district.  In the past year, the Jr./Sr. High School gymnasium has been completely renovated, the Jr./Sr. High School Marching Band got new uniforms and students that have qualified for national trips have all benefited from funds provided through the foundation.
