About Our Organization
Salvation Army is a benevolent organization which seeks to minister the the physical and spiritual needs of people. In McCook the Salvation Army funds are used for emergency housing, assistance in paying for rent, utilities, medications, medical needs, dental needs, fuel for trips to out of town Dr. appointments. The Backpack give away is an annual event where backpacks and school supplies are given to children whose families lack funds to purchase them.
