Community Hospital Health Foundation

Organization Profile

Community Hospital Health Foundation was chartered in 1985 as a 501 (c) 3 for the purpose of supporting healthcare for the region.

Our Mission Statement has remained the same: "To generate funds to secure the future of Community Hospital by stimulating public awareness and support".

The foundation solicits support through an annual appeal, three special events annually, campaigns for capital projects and one to one individual asks. Funds generated are directed to programs and services provide by Community Hospital. Additionally a scholarship program is facilitated by the foundation offering approximately $30,000 to students pursuing healthcare careers annually.

Project Description

“Giving is not just about making a donation…it is about making a difference” -Kathy Calvin, CEO United Nations Foundation

We are fortunate at Community Hospital because we are able to see every day the difference donations make for the patients we serve. Sometimes it is the services we offer that would not be available without support. Sometimes it comes to us in writing from a grateful patient and sometimes it is as simple as the smile on a child’s face when they get a prize for that poke they endured in the emergency department.

No one can predict a health crisis, but it is comforting to know care will be there when needed. Because of your generosity Community Hospital can provide advanced care that is always there. Thank you for trusting us with your gifts.

Below is an example of where your donations have and will make a difference.
